Pallet Track uses state-of-the-art bar code technology to track the production of an automated repair line and provides real-time information for analysis. Pallet Track is hard-wired into the automated line, but a wireless system is also available to keep track of incoming material, inventory, or production, or for use in nonautomated
facilities. Using a hand-held terminal and a line scanner, the Pallet Track wireless system tracks incoming materials from street vendors bring pallets, to cut-stock purchases, to nail supplies.

THE PALLETS ARE FED FROM CLIPPERS TO ONE OF 12 REPAIR STATIONS. PALLETS ARE REPAIRED, LABELED AND
PUT BACK ON THE LINE.

BAR CODES ARE SCANNED AS THEY LEAVE THE REPAIR LINE. THE SCANNED INFORMATION IS THEN UPDATED ON THE COMPUTER AND
THE PALLET IS SENT TO THE CORRECT STACKER.
